A very simple breathing practice for people who feel busy, new, unsure, tired, or mentally crowded. You do not need silence. You do not need experience. You only need one gentle minute.
One breath is small enough to begin, and deep enough to change the moment.
Sit comfortably. Let your shoulders soften. Follow the circle gently: as it expands, breathe in. As it becomes smaller, breathe out.
Repeat for one minute. Nothing more is required.
Sit or stand comfortably. Let the body feel supported.
Breathe in gently through the nose for about four seconds.
Breathe out slowly. Let the jaw, shoulders, and chest soften.
If thoughts appear, simply come back to the next breath.
Beginners often think meditation must be long, silent, and perfect. But a small practice is easier to trust.
One minute gives the nervous system a soft signal: you are allowed to pause. You are allowed to return. You are allowed to begin again without pressure.
This practice is not about emptying the mind. It is about creating one quiet space inside the day.
There is no need to judge the practice. If you noticed even one small shift, the practice has already begun working.
“You do not need to calm the whole mind. Begin with one breath.”
