The third doorway
The breath is the only part of us that keeps returning.
Even when we forget to thank it.
Breathing is not a performance. It is a small tide inside the body. Today, we do not improve it. We become less rude to it.
You do not need to control the breath. You only need to meet it.
You do not need to import peace from a mountain retreat. A small doorway is already opening beneath your ribs.
The moment you listen, the body stops feeling like a machine and begins feeling like a place you can live.
Trying to dominate the breath is like shouting at a candle to become calm. Very human. Not very effective.
